For more information, please visit our website: About the Opportunity ASKIN is looking for a full-time Direct Sales Executive based in Eastern Creek, NSW , covering the Sydney and Canberra regions .
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll drive new business acquisition and regional sales growth while nurturing strong customer relationships across a diverse commercial client base.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implementing structured prospecting and lead generation plans Following up on sales leads, generating quotes, and securing approvals Maintaining detailed sales call notes and forecast reporting Building strong client relationships with regular follow-ups post-sale Liaising internally and externally on dispatch and production requirements Resolving customer issues promptly and professionally Collaborating with internal teams across estimating, engineering, drafting, production, construction, and finance Providing market intelligence, competitor insights, and client feedback About You To qualify, you will need a valid driver's licence and at least 3 years of experience in a field-based B2 B sales role , ideally within the construction, building materials, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
While experience with materials and construction will be highly regarded , it's your proven ability to drive results that will truly set you apart.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued: Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce or Pronto Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities Confidence in presenting and communicating technical solutions Ability to manage quotes, sales reports, and forecasts accurately As our ideal candidate, you are a personable, driven, and customer-focused individual with a structured approach to building your sales pipeline and a passion for fostering long-term business relationships.
