Quality Engineer Consultant

Quality Engineer role focused on performing quality control tests and analyses to ensure software meets specified standards and end-user requirements.
Collaborate with the development team to establish testing strategy, acceptance criteria, and to develop and execute automated and manual testing.
You will lead test execution activities, participate in artifact review meetings, identify QA process issues, and coach others on QA processes.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure software meets specified standards and end-user requirements.
Collaborate with the development team to establish testing strategy and acceptance criteria; develop and execute automated and manual testing.
Lead QA planning tasks, author basic test matrices from business/technical requirements with some supervision, and translate business needs into QA tasks.
Lead a small team with some oversight and coach others on correct QA processes at a basic level.
Identify QA process issues and escalate them appropriately.
