Responsibilities

As a suitable applicant you will have 3+ years of experience safety coordinating in construction or a similar industry. The safety coordinator position is with a reputable asphalt and road construction company, based in Newcastle. Ideally the right candidate, will have excellent communication skills, great stakeholder management, be a team player and be able to implement and influence the safety culture in a positive way.

Duties include:

Ensure sites are compliant and to a high safety standardCoordinate all Health & Safety strategies & initiativesMaintaining all OH&S documentation and reportsRisk Prevention and ManagementImprove and Maintain Safety Culture Requirements 3+ years of safety coordinating in construction or a similar industry A cert 4 or Diploma in OH&SAn up-to-date understanding of WHS legislation.Open to travel and night shifts At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
