Our health-care team is currently recruiting for a Registered Midwife Level 1 to join our Maternity Unit in Canberra, ACT. Join the team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis with excellent Salary + Super.

This Level 6 tertiary centre provides specialised maternity, neonatology and paediatric services for the ACT and surrounding regional areas to approximately 3800 women per year.

Reporting to the Clinical Midwifery Manager, the Registered Midwife is responsible for providing evidence based, safe and effective midwifery care to women in a supported environment. The midwife is responsible for providing care that meets quality and safety standards and will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and with consumers of maternity services.

There are a range of positions available, including working directly in one unit, rotational positions across your scope of practice, introducing rostered teams. Multiple positions are available throughout this Division including but not limited to:
