Senior Sales Operations Specialist

We are looking for a switched on and customer-service oriented individual, with previous order fulfilment and shipping experience, who can effectively provide support to our customers and the business. The Senior Sales Operations Specialist is also responsible for overseeing shipping operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. This role involves processing customer orders, coordinating with logistics partners, and managing inventory levels.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for the day-to-day sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts.
- Serves as a liaison between Arrow's internal resources (field sales, engineering, supplier marketing, manufacturing facilities, purchasing and other corporate departments), vendor resources and customers.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and sense of urgency on our customers' behalf, anticipates our customers' requirements and communicates efforts in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain and update relevant delivery and ETA information in ERP support systems.
- Manage backlog of orders and transactions on a day to day basis, and work closely with colleagues to ensure fulfillment in the most effective and efficient manner to close orders ASAP.
- Contribute to the innovation and solutions to handle relatively highly complex orders and issues relating to receipting and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to arrange shipments, negotiate freight rates, and track shipments. Monitor shipping schedules and take necessary actions to address any delays or issues.
- Resolve shipping-related customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process.
- Review transactions in the business to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
Required Skills
- Proven high-level verbal and written English communication skills across a variety of stakeholders
- Committed to delivering high quality, customer service focused outcomes
- Strong attention to detail with an eye to detect errors in data
- Experience with an ERP system
- Intermediate MS Office, technology and general computer skills
- Independent, resourceful, reliable, adaptable, firm and professional
- Time management and problem-solving skills, in a high volume, fast paced environment
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in a product distribution environment
- Understanding of software licensing, renewals and MSP programs
- Demonstrated experience in order management or order fulfilment
- Experience in maintaining strong attention to detail throughout order fulfillment preferred
- Previous experience ensuring compliance is maintained across the business
- Previous experience in handling Domestic and International shipping
