Responsibilities:

  • Work in an Agile scrum team, responsible for Quality Assurance, proactively contribute to all agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives).
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and stakeholders to get clarity on the requirements and reporting.
  • Define scope, create and maintain test plans and test strategy; define and maintain test tools for testing and certification.
  • Create and review test cases, raise and manage defects in Jira.
  • Execute and review test cases within test cycle in Jira, analyse results, and report defects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on testing tasks.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation framework.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and EFTPOS technology.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years for Quality assurance experience.
  • At least 3+ year of testing EFTPOS terminals.
  • Strong knowledge on payment industry and financial messaging standards, mainly ISO 8583 and AS2805.
  • Proven experience on Schemes certification MC, VISA, EFTPOS, UPI etc
  • Proven experience in requirements analysis, test planning and environment setup.
  • Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, defect management and test reporting.
  • Up to date industry best practises in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
  • Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
  • Experience in Test Cases Traceability with Requirements (using JIRA, X-Ray).
  • Strong team approach, "can do" attitude and ability to work in a high performing team and working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and assume responsibility.
