We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our NSW/ACT team, based in Sydney

Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for servicing all Life Sciences (LSG) and Clinical Diagnostics (CDG) instruments in our Australian customers and assisting across the broader Pacific region when required. In particular, this position will be supporting our customers use of our immunohaematology instruments. An important component of this role is to assist in building customers' confidence and network with Bio-Rad as well as providing front line technical and application support to internal / external stakeholders to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved..

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Consistently provide preventive and maintenance services to customers
  • Install, service and maintain all LSG and CDG instruments, in particular our immunohaematology instruments
  • Ensure all work orders are handled in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Use of ServiceMax for work order management
  • Ensure tools and test equipment are kept in a professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Meeting territory service goals and objectives
  • Ensure that the Company achieves its customer satisfaction objective at all times
  • Report promptly to the Technical Service Manager of any circumstances where this is not occurring
  • Maintain good customer relationships
  • Embrace the Bio-Rad quality philosophy

What You Bring:

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering preferred (Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical)
  • Minimum or 3-5 years' experience in Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics or Biomedical service Industry
  • Previous experience in commissioning and undertaking maintenance of immunohaematology instruments would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and proven customer relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, good organisation and planning skills
  • Strong team orientation
  • Problem solving ability and results driven
  • High level of skills in computer literacy and software usage
  • Current drivers licence valid in Australia.
  • Full unrestricted rights to work in Australia
