Your New Company/Role:

As one of the established and renowned organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a temporary role till the end of August and subject to extension. The role is to support the financial year end period.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, you will be responsible for:

General Ledger Reconciliations.Bank reconciliation preparationCompleting and compiling various financial reports (Internal / External / BPC).Data entry for accounts payable and receivableMonth End Duties (journals, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations etc.).Ensure creditors invoices are processed and reconciled in a timely manner.Reconciliation of Intercompany Balances.Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Assets registerOther ad hoc finance duties as required Ideal Profile To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function: Completion of Diploma/Bachelor of Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience within the accounting spaceHands on experience in General Ledger reconciliationExcellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholdersIntermediate Excel skillsAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyExperience in large ERP highly desirable Able to work independently with great time management Benefits Immediate start till end of August - subject to extension$34 - $40 per hour + Super (Based on experience) To be based in the office 5 daysShort term role but great organization to add onto the CVOnsite parking providedRydalmere Location Great team culture and work life balance If you have the required skills and experience needed for this position, kindly please click the 'Apply' button below.
