Our client is seeking an Agile Supply Chain Project Manager to provide project and thought leadership on the delivery of various projects within the FMCG industry from project design through to commission and delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a broad team of stream leads, including DC Design, Property, IT, Replenishment, Commercial, Network Design, Business Readiness, Change and Communications, Legal as well as external suppliers.

What you'll do:

As an Agile Supply Chain Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading high-value infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a diverse team of stream leads including DC Design, Property, IT, Replenishment, Commercial, Network Design, Business Readiness, Change and Communications, Legal as well as external suppliers. Your ability to challenge decisions and propose robust solutions will be key in this role. You will also be responsible for reporting progress, risks & issues, and financials through various departmental and cross divisional forums. Your collaborative approach will enable you to work effectively with major internal customers and other business units. Ensuring correct governance and assurance is maintained will be a crucial part of your role.

  • Provide project and thought leadership on the delivery of FMCG warehousing and DC design projects
  • Manage a broad team of stream leads to deliver the Design, Build, Commissioning of the new operation
  • Challenge and pressure test decisions and proposed direction of streams to ensure robust decision making
  • Report progress, risks & issues, and financials through various departmental and cross divisional forums
  • Work collaboratively with major internal customers and other business units
  • Ensure correct governance and assurance is maintained

What you bring:

The ideal Agile Supply Chain Project Manager brings a wealth of knowledge in the development , construction, and business readiness of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities. She has demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams to achieve agreed deliverables. Her knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is extensive. She has a knack for identifying risks and mitigating against them. She is suitably qualified in Project Management fundamentals or holds a suitable equivalent technical degree. Her communication and presentation skills are excellent, enabling her to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Sound knowledge of the development , construction, and business readiness of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams to achieve the agreed deliverables
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to identify risks and mitigate against them
  • Suitably qualified in Project Management fundamentals or suitable equivalent technical degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
