**What you'll do
The Head of Sustainability for Primary Connect, which is the Woolworths Group Supply Chain, is a pivotal leadership role that is responsible for defining, articulating, and leading the execution of our sustainability strategy. Working as part of the Group Sustainability Team and delivering with the Primary Connect team, this role ensures that our Group sustainability initiatives—particularly those centred around decarbonisation and emissions reduction—are not just in line with industry standards, but that they position our organisation as a market leader. The emphasis for this role leans more heavily on transformative strategies for environmental stewardship and uplifting practices across the division in general.
- Develop and deliver the Sustainability strategy and agenda for Primary Connect.
- Lead strategic initiatives and develop robust data collection and reporting mechanisms.
- Provide mechanisms to support reporting of emissions and other data with Partners and PC+ Customers.
- Maintain aligned plans, targets and commitments with Group Sustainability. Stakeholder management and influencing, including building strong advisory relationships with senior leaders.

**What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in sustainability roles with a specific focus on supply chain operations in the retail sector.
- Proven track record of successfully leading decarbonisation and emissions reduction initiatives.
- Experience in strategy development and execution, stakeholder engagement, and compliance reporting.
- Supply Chain and Operations experience preferred and retail experience is an advantage Proven delivery in enabling large-scale transformation in complex environments, leveraging structure, process, and systems to orchestrate delivery in harmony with Ways of Working.
