Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supply Chain Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to provide project and thought leadership on the delivery of Tier 1 Infrastructure projects in the investment range of $100m to $1b. The successful candidate will have the chance to manage a broad team of stream leads, including DC Design, Property, IT, Commercial, Network Design, Change and Communications, as well as external suppliers.

What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering Tier 1 Infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team of stream leads across sectors such as DC Design, Property, IT, Replenishment, Commercial, Network Design, Business Readiness, Change and Communications, Legal as well as external suppliers. You will ensure that correct governance and assurance are maintained while complying with the company's project management framework. Your ability to report on project progress, risks & issues, and financials through various departmental and cross divisional forums will be crucial. Furthermore, your collaborative approach towards working with major internal customers and other business units will be key to your success.

  • Provide project and thought leadership on the delivery of Tier 1 Infrastructure projects
  • Manage a broad team of stream leads across various sectors
  • Ensure correct governance and assurance is maintained
  • Comply with the company's project management framework
  • Report on project progress, risks & issues, and financials through various departmental and cross divisional forums
  • Work collaboratively with major internal customers and other business units
  • Challenge and pressure test decisions and proposed direction of streams

What you bring:

The ideal Supply Chain Project Manager will bring a wealth of knowledge in the development, construction, and business readiness of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities. You will have demonstrated experience in managing multiple teams to achieve agreed deliverables. Your understanding of project management methodologies and tools will be essential in this role. Furthermore, your ability to identify risks and mitigate against them will be crucial. A qualification in Project Management fundamentals or a suitable equivalent technical degree is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, along with strong planning and organisational skills. The ability to work independently and think both strategically and tactically will set you apart.

  • Sound knowledge of the development , construction, and business readiness of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities
  • Experience in managing multiple teams to achieve agreed deliverables
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to identify risks and mitigate against them
  • Qualification in Project Management fundamentals or suitable equivalent technical degree
