The Centre
This lovely 30 place service in Lane Cove is seeking a part-time Centre Director to join their team to lead and guide a team of passionate educators. The service follows a play-based approach and has spacious indoor and outdoor spaces and is well resourced to ensure educators are able to provide high quality learning experiences.
The position will be part-time working 3 days a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The centre is a reputable service within the Lane Cove area and prides itself on its strong ties with the local community. The service is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm.
The Role
As Centre Director of the service some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Being responsible for the daily management and administration of the serviceMotivating, supporting and working in partnership with the Assistant Director, Educational Leader and all educators, driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational programs to childrenLiaising with families during tours and enrollmentsOverseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality FrameworkDriving quality in practices in line with the National Quality StandardsMentoring and guiding the service philosophyBe enthusiastic, positive, productive and conduct oneself in a professional manner Benefits of the role: Great base salary ($43-$50/h depending on experience) Well-established organisation with supportive team of upper managementFantastic leadership opportunityChildcare discount fees availableTraining and development opportunities available About You To be successful in this position you must have: Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (equivalent or higher) qualification OR ACECQA-approvedPrior experience as a Director Current First Aid and CPR CertificateCurrent Anaphylaxis and Asthma ManagerA current Working with Children's CheckStrong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP If you wish to apply for this role please do so via the website or email your resume directly to Not for you?
