This is the perfect opportunity for an ER Specialist with extensive experience in the practice of Australian Employment Law and enjoys working in a fast paced environment working on the most complex ER work in the organisation.
Please note this is a Part time (0.8) fixed term contract for 12 Months.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Line Managers in managing complex misconduct processes and address matters requiring disciplinary actionResolve employee grievances and support the parties to resolve issues themselvesContinuous improvement of ER processes and contribute to team initiatives Act as a mentor in the development of junior members in the ER team. Key Selection Criteria: Knowledge of and experience managing employee misconduct, terminations, poor performance, health, harassment, bullying, unacceptable behaviour and other grievances, in addition to undertaking investigationsExtensive experience in the practice of employment law or 4 years experience working in ER rolesBe able to apply sound judgement to a range of complex cases and delivering practical adviceAdvanced understanding of employment, discrimination and equal opportunity laws, relationship between policies, employment contracts, awards and agreements If you're passionate about Employee Relations, working in a fast paced and supportive team and enjoy working on complex cases, then we'd love to chat with you.
