Randstad are proud to be assisting one of our medical practice clients based in Byron Bay. This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity to make a difference and assist our client grow and develop.

The role of practice manager reports in to the regional manager, and is the main point of contact for everything to do with the practice. The role is all encompassing, and includes every aspect of the business, from front of house customer service, making appointments, taking payments, processing claims, through to back office administration including rostering and setting up doctors rooms, through to managerial duties including completing statutory documentation for upper management.

To be successful, you do not need to have a background in the medical industry. We are seeking an individual with exceptional customer service and administration skills, someone who is personable, energetic and vibrant and who can take ownership and grow with the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain accurate patient recordsOrganise appointments for patients, both face to face and over the phoneField inbound phone calls to the appropriate team member where requiredIssue invoices to patients (bulk billing where required)Assist doctors and nurses with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and data entryMaintain reception area and ensure patients are kept well informed of delays etc that may occurPrepare and present managerial reports as required (including profit and loss) If this role sounds like something you may be interested in, please apply now.
