Brownfields Execution Lead

The successful candidate will direct and lead the construction disciplines (piping, structural, welding, painting, mechanical, E&I, insulation & rigging) and all commissioning activities associated for Brownfields projects during project development and execution.
Main Responsibilities:Prepare for and ensure all preparation is completed for upcoming offshore construction and commissioning scopes for the offshore implementation of all Brownfield ProjectsEnsures Health, Safety and Environmental targets and objectives for Implementation Contractor(s) team are metClose liaison with the Work Readiness Lead for preparation and execution of all offshore implementation activitiesCoordinates and delivers required offshore personnel to implement all Brownfield ProjectsEnsure and facilitate close liaison and relationship between onshore engineering/preparation and offshore implementation teamsProgramme workloads and provide technical and administrative guidance to the offshore execution team to ensure aims and objectives are effectively achievedManage the offshore project schedules within the asset maintenance IAP PlanAdminister Project programme to ensure implementation is in accordance with plans, designs and specificationsInput to HAZIDs and mitigation measuresLead and Input to constructability reviews and input to project execution plansInput and approval of construction and commissioning logic block diagramsReview and challenge Implementation Contractor estimates (timeframes and resources) and methodologyProvide liaison between Perth based project team and offshore supervisionAudits and updates of Project Plan's and procedures as requiredInput to Preparation of project cost estimatesAttend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to constructionInput to the Project procurement, subcontract, and fabrication plansLiaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.Provide fabrication cost and schedule estimates from sub-contractorsFollow up on quality and delivery of fabricated items/packagesPrepares progress reports for project management, internal and external stakeholdersManaging the planning and design stages of construction projects.Performing cost estimation and preparing financial projections for Construction.Manage progress and productivity to achieve schedule and report progress against the scheduleParticipate in schedule and execution development to ensure the schedule is realistic and achievable for project portfolioResponsible for the allocation of discipline resourcesCo-ordination of portfolio sub-contractorsLiaise and co-ordinates with Company offshore management team to drive offshore scheduleManagement and co-ordination of industrial relations in line with management planQualification & Requirements:Tertiary or relevant trade qualificationFormal training in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) preferableStrong offshore plant brownfields construction backgroundTrack record of Australian onshore construction projectsExperience of operating in different Oceania/Asia Pacific countries/regions preferableProven experience related to proactive control of project cost and scheduleStrong problem solving, management and organisation skillsComputer literate, extensive use of Microsoft Office suite and construction management and completion databasesEffective English - oral and written communicationMinimum of 15 years' experience in relevant oil and gas engineering discipline in onshore plant construction with at least 10 years focused on construction engineeringExtensive experience in Australian onshore construction projectsE:
