Continuous Improvement Lead

The position is created to facilitate a culture and practice of continuous improvement and high quality service delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a framework for continuous improvement that includes performance indicators, measures, metrics and processes for evaluation. Lead working groups through continuous improvement projects, including defining project scope, collecting, measuring and analysing data and determining solutions.Facilitate, coordinate and participate in cross organisational partnerships and collaborate across Council to achieve continuous improvement outcomes.Play a lead role in scoping, supporting and reporting on Service Reviews. Support the Corporate Planning and Performance Coordinator to implement an annual program of service reviews Contribute to the development of tools, templates and other collateral to build the service review program and capacity of the organisation to undertake service reviews. Develop high quality reports and presentations. Support development of Continuous Improvement Plans by relevant service areas to ensure change is embedded and service improvements are realised. Develop and leverage positive internal relationships and networks to influence practice improvements and positive change. Specialists Skills and KnowledgeHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills to influence, persuade and motivate others across the organisation to achieve outcomes and positive change.Demonstrated experience leading teams through continuous improvement projects and initiatives.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to prepare reports and presentations that consider multiple audiences.Exhibit political awareness with an understanding of the impact on decisions on the organisation and community.Strong project planning and delivery skills, with proven capacity to champion, guide and implement complex projects.If you are available to start a new assignment based in Melbourne in the next week and have covered the above responsibilities in a previous Council, Government department or similar organisation then please address your experience against the above key responsibilities and send through your updated CV and covering letter in word format.
