This newly created role, based in the heart of Sydney CBD, offers the chance to take on full function Accounts Payable duties, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. What you'll do:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation. Your primary responsibility will be managing full function Accounts Payable duties, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to assist the Financial Accountant, gaining valuable exposure to broader financial operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Perform full function Accounts Payable duties with precision and efficiency
  • Provide assistance to the Financial Accountant as required
  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to achieve shared goals

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Specialist role will bring a wealth of prior experience in Accounts Payable roles. You will possess strong communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with various stakeholders. Your ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently will be key to your success in this role. While Mandarin speaking skills are preferable, they are not essential. Above all, we value team players who demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Mandarin speaking skills are preferable but not essential
  • A collaborative approach to work, demonstrating ability to work well within a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
