Formula for Success

As Procurement Specialist, you'll be responsible for procurement sourcing (source to contract) of assigned products and services of indirect procurement within defined thresholds for the site and the site account management in Australia and New Zealand. In addition to that, you will also be responsible for coordinating all procurement activities across various sites and teams.

You'll:

  • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to support business growth, mitigate risks and reduce costs.
  • Supporting regional category buyer to provide local market intelligence and develop local potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on competitive price, payment term and delivery term.
  • Collaborate with global / regional teams on local supplier identification and supplier management and development.

Ingredients for Success

To be successful in this role, you'll have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships both locally and regionally. You'll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.

You'll:

  • Have prior experience in a procurement, purchasing or planning role.
  • Be highly diligent with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, be well organised and juggle multiple priorities.
  • SAP experience a plus.
