About the Role:


We are on the lookout for energetic and passionate casual Food & Beverage Attendants to join our F&B team here at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) and Lakeside Oval.


In this role you will be responsible for providing efficient and customer focused service to patrons at MSAC's Sir Albert Café and event pop up Kiosks.

This incorporates serving food, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, preparing food, cleaning and cash handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the friendly face of our café and catering services, engaging with all customers in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Process food and beverage orders using POS systems, accurately balancing receipts and payments.
  • Serve food and beverages to patrons efficiently, maintaining a high level of service quality.
  • Assisting in the daytoday Café and Pop up Kiosk operations.
  • Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards of all food preparation areas.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, the kitchen staff, and other areas of operation.
  • Perform any adhoc duties as required.

About You:

  • Have experience working in busy café and catering settings, thriving in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and enthusiastic approach.
Our facilities are open across 7 days, so it is essential that you are flexible and willing to work shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
