The Opportunity:


This is an exciting time to come join the team at Newcastle Anglican as our new change management specialist initially on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Your new role will see you be the strategic change management representative, supporting teams to integrate change management activities into plans and working closely with the organisation and its Business Units to succeed.

Your goal is to evolve the Change Management capability to a level of excellence across the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Drive both complex organisations and transformational change will be essential for you to drive the timely and successful delivery of project objectives through targeted strategies and plans to increase employee adoption and usage.
  • Coaching and mentoring to support organisational change and assisting others to act as change sponsors to enhance best practice and system capability across the organisation.
  • Collaborate & maintain regular communication with project teams including project managers, systems administrators, business analysts and SME's.
  • Develop targeted change management strategies and plans (e.g., communication, training, and resistance) to deliver against project outcomes and meet the needs of impacted audiences.
  • Monitor project progress in relation to timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies and plans to address gaps. Support project teams, stakeholders, and business owners to close gaps.
  • Administer, monitor, and report on change management progress and activities
  • Prepare and deliver change and uptake progress reports.

About you?

  • 5 years or more industry experience in managing and implementing change management within diverse and complex IT projects with timelines over 1 year.
  • Ideally Change management qualifications (Prosci or similar)
  • Skilled in negotiating and strong stakeholder relationship management.
  • Detail oriented and focused on delivering positive outcomes for the business and people.
  • National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
