ABOUT YOUR ROLE


The purpose of the District Operations Manager is to ensure that our Vending Stores are clean, replenished, and ready to sell every day.

The role will be responsible for leading, coaching and training a team of Store Activation Specialists (Employee & Contractors) that deliver a consistent experience for our consumers every time they make a purchase through our Automated Retail business.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The consistency in experience will be achieved by:

  • Providing strong, positive and engaging leadership to the Operations Team Fulfilment Team (Including Contractors).
  • Executing the agreed Training, Coaching and Engagement program designed to improve operational standards and provide a consistent experience for consumers.
  • Embedding SWPs and JSAs into a safe culture for all of the Store Operations Team, including supporting programs to improve compliance to Chain of Responsibility.
  • Embedding the Automated Retail operational standards and routines within the State Operations Team and Fulfilment Contractors.
  • Initiating performance review programs into management routines for both the Store Operations Team and Fulfilment Contractors which are overseen by the Store Manager.
  • Initiating and participating in programs that improve engagement and interaction with EQS, Supply Chain, National Sales Centre, Security & Fraud and the Automated Retail Sales teams.
  • Support Cost to Serve budgets through embedding a disciplined and structured management routine which targets cost reduction throughout the delivery supply chain.
  • Interacting with the Landlord to resolve any operational matters that relate to Store Operations.
  • Executing all levers of the Vending Transformation Project within the specific timelines.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in people management with both employees and external Contractors
  • Understanding the current safety and legislative requirements that effect Store Operations
  • The ability to quickly influence as well as building rapport and trust
  • The ability to coach, train and develop a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Full unrestricted Drivers License
