About the Role:

Due to successful tendering and a strong pipeline of projects we are looking for a Project Manager to manage projects whilst having the full support of internal resources. You may manage between 2-4 minor works projects at a time up to $3m targeting fitouts, upgrades and special projects.

What will I be doing:

  • Detailed project programming and control and managing project progress and performance
  • Variation and contract negotiations
  • Responsible for the financial performance of the projects
  • Design Management
  • Build long-term positive client relationships
  • Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
  • Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Managers and Site teams
  • Establishing and ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS requirements

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in the fire protection industry particularly across dry fire
  • Electrical Trade Qualification would be beneficial
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the fire protection industry
  • Experience with project management cost estimating and budgeting
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
  • Ability to manage and oversee a wide range of projects and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
  • A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
