The role:


As the Resource Manager, through co-ordination and collaboration, you will enhance the quality of workflow of the agency's creative product working with your partner's agencies in Melbourne to ensure seamless integration in resourcing for creative production.


Core responsibilities:

  • Reviewing briefs, costs and other requests ensuring hours are appropriate to task requests and working with Account Management Team to ensure appropriate hours are estimated are adequate and working
  • Ensure Producers, strategy, Client Service Teams and any party required are included throughout the creative development process through key meetings to ensuring feasibility both financially and logístically
  • Manage Creative workflow and understand timelines for work in progress, identify potential conflicts with existing work within the team and advise producers to reevaluate schedules
  • Ensuring jobs are running on time and to budget
  • Monitors scheduling, planning and resource management of projects from original concept through delivery of final product
  • Tracks issues within projects and deliverables managing resolution with the corresponding department(s)
  • Prioritises work for copywriters and designers and production within the Creative department

A bit about you:

  • 7+ years working in similar capacity or in an integrated agency, internal agency and understand the roles and structures within a fullservice creative agency model
  • Proven track record managing/coordinating internal teams successfully whilst balancing, client and internal expectations
  • A strong appreciation of the creative and design culture of the agency, and the logístical and practical challenges this might present
  • Experience with a workforce planning platform (Workbook ideal but not crucial)
  • Strong financial acumen for project and production budgeting
