About the role
Implement effective people management practices, providing positive and proactive advice regarding the resolution of all workplace and employee matters and grievances. The HR Business Partner will support business performance improvement initiatives, including those that lead to
increased employee engagement and capability.


• Provide HR strategic, advisory and operational support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle.

• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships

• Support management and employees in the interpretation of and adherence to applicable industrial instruments, policies, procedures and processes, and
best practice.

• Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Partner to drive the recruitment and selection process including workforce planning, job design, attraction strategies, participating in interview processes where required.

• Support and guide managers to undertake consistent and appropriate performance management processes to promote a high-performance culture and manage underperformance.

• Support managers during Care Reviews.

• Undertake effective case management of employee relations matters.

About you


• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in generalist HR roles with sound knowledge of contemporary HR strategies and practices, including strong performance management and employee relations experience.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining highly effective stakeholder relationships.

• Proven ability to interpret and apply a range of industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High levels of diplomacy and experience in dealing with situations where empathy and discretion is required.
