As a Service Delivery Specialist, you demonstrate strong commitment and drive in ensuring effective service delivery to customers.


Your role is pivotal to the retention and growth of customers in a defined segment as you prioritise outstanding customer advocacy and navigate an internal stakeholder landscape to deliver world class customer services.


Acting as the key interface and point of contact between Telstra and customers, you contribute to the establishment of efficient and effective operational processes and systems that accomplish goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you'll do


As a Defence Service Delivery Specialist, you will demonstrate strong commitment and drive in ensuring effective service delivery to customers.

Telstra is accountable for delivering critical operational ICT services to the Department of Defence.


The Defence Service Delivery specialist is responsible for providing specialist customer service and support to the products, services and processes provided to the Department of Defence (Defence).- Facilitate, lead and actively participate in programs of work/initiatives/forums, both internal and customer facing, that ensure the delivery and ongoing improvement of Telstra services to Defence.- Foster open communications between all stakeholders, establish relationships and clear understanding of accountabilities- Monitor the development of the program/projects aligned to customer expectations, continual service improvement and Defence account business strategies.- Be an effective point of escalation for customers and stakeholders, as required, to manage and resolve service delivery issues, and support the sales process.

- Development of partnerships between customers, vendors and sub-contractor organisation to address business opportunities for Telstra


Key Responsibilities Drive ongoing proactive improvement of operations and the quality of services provided to Defence.- Participate in the design of new processes, process enhancements and performance measures required as a result of new product or services development/enhancement activities,- Maximise operational and resource efficiency in the delivery of services to the Defence.- Identify, develop and implement programmes designed to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.- Provide quality advice to Defence personnel, management, peers and Telstra staff based on the technical, service and delivery knowledge and understanding of operations.- Provide regular reporting on activities and specific project progress as required.
