Job Responsibilities:
  • Jointly plan and oversee integrated change programs with Defence.
  • Build and maintain a strong, trust-based strategic relationship between senior representatives in Airservices and Defence to support cross-agency decision making and alignment of objectives
  • Orchestrate across functions to ensure a holistic, strategy-led approach to guide Airservices engagement efforts with Defence, and drive organisational alignment and continual improvement of the resulting outcomes
  • Deliver actionable insights on the needs and strategic priorities of Defence in the context of their interactions with Airservices to inform decision-making
  • Facilitate the development and execution of a Defence engagement plan in support of Airservices strategy and change agenda
Job Requirements:
  • Superb communication, influencing and negotiation skills to foster consensus and collaborative ways of working to advance government objectives of fostering aviation
  • Skills in building and maintaining relationships at Executive/senior leadership levels with government stakeholders as well as internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in leading strategic engagement with Defence or similar significant government stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge in the workings and broader strategic context of Defence or similar government agencies
  • Government or Defence relations expertise coupled with business acumen to influence efficient and effective outcomes, with experience in influencing cross-government policy and strategy development
