About the role:
This is an extremely influential role that will see you leading the maintenance strategy and reliability function for the largest heavy-haul rail operator in Australia.
As the Maintenance Strategy and Reliability Manager, you manage the maintenance strategies, reliability and condition monitoring functions for the entire Aurizon Rollingstock Fleet.
This position reports into the Head of Asset Management & Strategy and is a key member of a highly engaged and proactive leadership team.
Not only does this role own and evolve the Aurizon fleet maintenance strategy but it will be instrumental with forging a pathway beyond condition-based maintenance.

In respects to the technicalities, you'll need:
- _Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in a complementary engineering or science field_
- _Knowledge and experience with a Maintenance CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) and Maintenance Workflow Processes_
- _Project management skills: managing resources, budgets and timelines on key business projects_
