About the role:
This is your opportunity to join a newly established team within one of Australia's leading Insurers.

The Third-Party Risk Advisor will be responsible for meeting the requirements of the Operational Risk Management Standard and the third-party risk oversight required by this Standard.

Specifically, you will partner and drive an uplift in risk management practices across the management of Third-Parties.

If this sounds like the challenge you are after, please apply todayWhat you'll do: Be the trusted advisor to business, Procurement and Lo D1 stakeholders regarding third-party risk management; Provide consistent guidance as to the minimum required assessments & ongoing management activities for third-parties engaged via the Procurement team; Liaise with various internal stakeholders hand-offs across the risk and security assessment process Provide consistent end-to-end third party-risk management of third-parties engaged via the Procurement team Drive regulatory management and change activity (linking to things such as UCT, Sanctions & AB&C, Privacy, CPS230)

Responsibility for operationalising third-party risk frameworks to deliver high quality and valuable risk programs of support to improve financial, customer and compliance performance; Contribute to effective risk management (from a 1st line perspective)What you'll bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in insurance, banking, or financial services Minimum 2 years' third-party risk management and outsource risk management experience, or similar Demonstrated experience in influential communication to stakeholders High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change Strong relationship management and problem-solving skills Strong negotiation skills demonstrated across internal stakeholder management contexts Strong presentation and written & verbal communication skills, to technical and business audiences (particularly the ability to effectively explain and convey messages at the senior executive level)
