Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expert to become a vital part of our expanding Cyber team in Brisbane.
Our Cyber & Technology division is undergoing remarkable growth, and we are relied upon by our clients to navigate complex challenges in cybersecurity, data privacy, cyber incidents, and forensic technology. Our approach is hands-on, collaborating closely with clients to devise and implement effective solutions to intricate issues. In high-pressure situations, we maintain composure and assist clients in resolving critical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and quantifying vulnerabilities in cyber resilience and maturity.
- Formulating and executing strategies to address identified gaps and enhance governance capabilities.
- Evaluating compliance with standards such as ISO27001, NIST, CPS 234, or the ACSC Essential 8.
- Developing cyber and privacy risk management frameworks, including assessments of third-party risks when necessary.
- Creating comprehensive reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations, and delivering insights during client briefings.
- Managing engagement risks while ensuring high-quality deliverables across all projects.
- Upholding the confidentiality of client information and data.
- Strengthening client relationships through exceptional service.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent technical experience is highly preferred.
- A strong understanding and enthusiasm for the technical dimensions of cyber/information security and privacy governance.
- Proven experience in Cyber Risk & Strategy initiatives, including the development of safety programs, conducting security risk assessments, and managing cybersecurity incident response exercises.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Motivated, driven, and determined to succeed.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure.
