Position description:

We seek an enthusiastic Health Professional (Technical Officer) to join our Central Automated Laboratory in Macquarie Park
.
 You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Overseeing the frontend specimen reception area for the GLP Track and ensuring specimens are processed with due care
  • Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Adhering to standard laboratory protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workflow and highquality results.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues as they arise

We are looking for the following:

  • Graduated with Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Specialising in Pathology Testing) or a recognised degree.
  • Open to working rostered full time hours across:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 1am
  • Saturday from 1pm to 9pm
  • Excellent attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
