THE OPPORTUNITY


The Faculty of Health Science, Youth and Community Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.

The department of Community and Social Inclusion is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Diploma of Community Services & Recognising and Responding to Family Violence.


Salary:
$82.01 to 88.60 per hour + 10.5%

Location:
Moorabbin Campus

WWCC:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check.

Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.

Position Status:
Casual

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience for Community Services teachers this may include: relevant higher study in psychology, counselling, mental health, alcohol and other drugs or social work, experience as a counsellor, psychologist or social worker
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units; or
  • Higher level qualification which includes specific study in adult and vocational education
  • Previous experience in a teaching or training role preferred.
