Associate Director, FGT.
The FGT Client Coverage team is part of NAB's Corporate & Institutional Banking Business.

The Technology Client Coverage team specialises in the origination activity and management of strategic high growth Technology focused client relationships and works closely with our specialist risk and product teams to deliver rich insights, ideas and solutions to our client base.

The Technology team is also responsible in contributing positively to the FGT and broader Corporate & Institutional Banking growth and strategic initiatives.


The Associate Director opportunity will see you collaborating with the Executive Director, Technology on Technology business strategy and client insights, including working alongside a broad range of product specialists e.g.

Transactional Banking, Markets, Specialised Financing, DCM Client Management & Execution (CME) team, other Coverage teams and credit/ risk colleagues. This role is a great opportunity to step into a role that will offer you growth and opportunity.

As our Associate Director you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Client coverage and origination activities within the FGT sector, with a focus on Technology clients
  • Relationship management for relevant clients
  • Research, creation and delivery of key content for presentations
  • Delivery of highquality strategic insights and activities for clients
  • Support of Technology sector and FGT strategy development through strategic problemsolving activities, presentation creation and writing
  • Active collaboration with specialist product and risk teams and across broader NAB business units to deliver rich insights to our client base
  • Pipeline management, account planning and multiproduct origination
  • Credit risk quality of the designated client set
  • Proactive risk management to meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified
  • Raising and enhancing the profile of NAB in the marketplace.
  • Decision making on transactions, supported by sound reasoning and in line with Delegated Credit Authority

You'll have instant impact by leveraging from the following skills and experience:

  • Managing complex client relationships and driving client advocacy and multi-product origination, to deliver revenue and financial outperformance
  • Proven experience of being an effective team player and helping to build a strong sales excellence culture
  • Demonstrating deep understanding of institutional banking, general accounting principles and cash flow financing
  • Demonstrating strong risk culture and outcomes
  • Research, writing and presentation delivery experience
  • Proven communication and influencing skills
  • Technology sector experience will be highly regarded
  • Transactional Banking and Liquidity Management product knowledge will be highly regarded
