About the role:


In your role as Analyst, you will play an important role in the Financial Institutions coverage team which sits within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB).


Your primary responsibility is to support the Managing Director and Director in ensuring the portfolio is managed consistent with MUFG's operational and strategic framework.


What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate the account planning framework for the segment
  • Assist in preparing client pitches
  • Maintain Salesforce in order to capture all client engagement and pipeline activity
  • Assist in preparation of deal screening material
  • Facilitate KYC processes
  • Coordinate responses for internal information requests
  • Assist with special projects and internal initiatives
  • Conduct client and industry research

What we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university is essential
  • Masters of Finance, MBA or CFA will be considered favourably
  • Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products
  • Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
  • The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
  • Has strong interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Is a team player
  • Is a selfstarter who applies initiative and has drive and enthusiasm
  • Has an analytical mindset and problem solving skills
  • Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders
