Let's talk about this role

As the Senior Actuarial Manager – Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of accurate actuarial valuations and capital reporting for private health insurance.

The role also provides best practice support to the Head of Actuarial and Analytics and Appointed Actuary on capital, statutory reporting, regulatory reporting, and financial condition reporting. This includes reporting on the actual performance of claims ratios, Gross Profit (including insights on drivers) and claims inflation headline figures.

The successful candidate for this role will have a Fellowship qualification of the IA Aust (or equivalent) along with 5+ years of experience in financial, capital and regulatory reporting.

You are committed to innovate and pursue continuous improvement activities, seeking new ways to elevate our performance and exceed expectations.

  • Financial modelling, and Excel skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with claims reserving and capital modelling
