The opportunity:

Visy Retail Services is a leading supplier & distributor of major brand hardware & retail products throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom; and a strategic partner to one of Australasia's largest retailers, Bunnings.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager - NSW and working as part of a high achieving and experienced team, your key responsibilities will include:

The Role:

  • Conduct cycle counts and analyze data to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) location accuracy of 98% or higher.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to review inventory record accuracy and propose improvements.
  • Booking of inbound containers and schedule prioritization of OOS to achieve high delivered in full
  • Address discrepancies between stock on hand and records, implementing operational enhancements as needed.
  • Optimize operational procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor picking team performance and support the DC Supervisor in tracking against company standards.
  • Handle sales inquiries, customer claims, and purchase orders promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers, both internal and external.
  • Uphold workplace health and safety standards and adhere to VRS life-saving rules.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment.
  • Sage and High Jump – WMS (advantageous)
