About the Role

They are currently seeking 20 x Customer Support Officers with Contact Centre experience to join their team in Newcastle to work across 2 different teams.


10 x Road Safety 1 Business line - 7am-7pm Monday to Friday, rotating rosters, estimated 4month temp assignment

10 x Travel & Recreation line
***- 7am-10pm Monday to Sunday, rostering rosters, estimated 3month temp assignments


Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to act as the first point of contact for the general enquiries.

You will provide high level professional customer service in triaging calls to achieve Departmental objectives

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties

  • Act as the first point of contact, providing high level, professional customer service
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a highvolume call centre environment
  • Answer customer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner
  • Create a positive customer experience, ensuring client satisfaction
  • Maintain up to date thorough knowledge of organisational policies and procedures
  • Educate customers on legislation, procedures and their rights and responsibilities
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, escalate or refer onto external providers, as required
  • Capture, process and lodge accurately customer information into the database
  • Inbox management, generating correspondence
  • Complete and process basic transactions
  • Ensure compliance with standards and legislation
  • Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Comply with all privacy and confidentiality legislative obligations, ensuring information integrity is not compromised
  • Adhere to Contact Centre daily and monthly KPI's

About You
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following

  • Demonstrated experience working within a highvolume contact centre environment
  • Professional, resilient and confident with a customer service delivery focus
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Empathetic nature with remarkable interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster between the hours of 7am 7pm Monday's to Friday's
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Availability to commence on Friday, 17th February 202
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
