About the role

The Senior Recovery & Performance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Health and Recovery division in delivering key initiatives to ensure we achieve the ambitious objectives of our WorkSafe strategy. The role will drive a high performing and positive culture and coordinate the work of others to achieve the agreed strategic initiatives.

The role requires an agile enthusiastic leader with a growth mindset and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to build and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of new health strategies and initiatives to improve worker recovery, provider performance and identify opportunities to achieve key strategic objectives aligned to WorkSafe's Strategy
  • Design and deliver health related programs of work by managing initiatives to ensure high quality, customer centric health and recovery services
  • Maintain expertise and market knowledge of the health and disability industries across Victoria, inter-state and federally to enable alignment opportunities, alternative courses of action on the provision of products and services as it relates to an injured workers recovery
  • Build and establish strategic partnerships with peak bodies and key stakeholders
  • Instigate new service models and programs end to end to support injured workers in their recovery

About you

You will have highly developed communication, interpersonal and consultative skills with the ability to converse and influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, combined with excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.

You have a high level understanding of the legal, policy and the operational environment and proven ability to deliver initiatives or programs of work supported by research, analysis and customer needs and a broad knowledge of work processes and implementation of continuous quality improvement requirements.

You will also possess the following skills and experience:

Skills and experience

  • Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business and customer needs to develop relevant and appropriate solutions or ideas
  • Proven experience of 5 to 7 years in leadership and change management
  • Advanced ability to execute quality written reports, briefs, presentations, training and strategic communications (oral and written) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive project lifecycle experience understanding the planning and delivery of projects, risk assessments, gap analysis and the application of agile project methodologies
  • Expertise in capturing input received from stakeholders, research and analysis to formulate guidance materials, policy or procedures
