In this role, you'll:

You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of different areas, the main one being logistics and procurement activities and contributing to smooth running warehouse operations.

You will work closely with the purchasing officer and be responsible for processing all new purchased plant equipment into the system, engraving them, and logging the information into the system using SAP. You will do regular stock checks and audits of the stock.

You will work with senior stakeholders in and out of the depot to ensure everyone has what they need.

You will have prior experience in logistics and procurement, but it doesn't necessarily need to be from a rail environment. You can demonstrate knowledge of using SAP and it is preferable that you will hold a forklift license. It is essential that you hold a class C driver's license for this position as you will be required to drive between different stores where necessary.

This is an RC4, Mon-Fri position based on site at the minor plant warehouse, located at our heavy plant and resurfacing depot in Clyde.
