About the Role

  • Support the provision of a range of human resources and injury management functions to Addiction and Mental Health Services (AMHS) ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Queensland Health policy.
  • Proactively provide quality Human Resources consultancy and advisory services to assist staff and management in a complex environment across a broad range of workforce matters, incorporating human resource policy, performance management, complaints, industrial compliance, official misconduct, discipline, health management and Award entitlement information.
  • Effectively support the management of human resource casework, including grievances and investigations, appeals, discipline and antidiscrimination matters, equity and diversity matters, and injury management matters including health management, Workcover and Q-Super income protection claims and associated reporting requirements.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders with regard to the implementation of human resource strategy and practices in accordance with contemporary Public Service processes.
