About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide high level job analysis, job evaluation, establishment and consultation services to clients throughout the department.
  • Lead and undertake designated project activities and participate in design and implementation of organisational review activities to support the specific scope and objectives of the unit.
  • Monitor and review human resource management services to ensure they meet client needs as well as being compliant with government and departmental legislation, awards, directives, policies and standards.
  • Provide operational advice, support and consultancy services to various areas of the department on a diverse range of human resource management matters.
About You
We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • JEMS evaluation methodology qualification and someone with exposure or experience in the job evaluation space;
  • An understanding of how relevant legislation, awards, policies, procedures and best practice human resources interacts with the work of the unit;
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment, ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, commitments and client needs and expectations;
  • Strong problemsolving abilities with experience engaging with diverse stakeholders;
  • An understanding of how dashboards, data and reporting can assist decision making;
  • Experience or possess the capability to undertake recruitment activities including placing adverts, phone screening and shortlisting applicants for state wide initiatives;
  • The ability to coordinate establishment data, support any governance processes and procedures related to establishment management;
  • The enthusiasm to participate in other projects/ programs/ work within the unit when required and identify recommendations for future enhancements.
