We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with ideally 3-5 years of local consulting experience.
Our client specializes in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Therefore, the successful candidate will have proven experience working on projects such as mixed-use developments, schools, high residential and industrial development building projects.
Education and Experience:The successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/Civil.
- Minimum 3 years' structural engineering experience gained within a consultancy environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will have:
- Solid knowledge and application of Australian Standard design codes, relevant design techniques, and construction procedures and techniques.
- Experience in the use of software such as RC Buildings, Space Gass, Rapt, Slabs, and Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills as these are essential for client liaison.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with the drafting team, fellow engineers, architects, and design managers.
- Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.
- Enthusiastic and committed to facilitating client needs.
- Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player.
