Project Technical Officer

Immediate start 12-month contract - with potential extension
$118 per hour + super
Location - Tasmania

Must possess Baseline Clearance

DFP Recruitment is currently seeking a Project Technical Officer for a federal government client. As a Project Technical Officer, you will ensure the delivery of technical support within a project, oversee change management, and assist in the transition of the project to the business upon closure in a professional manner, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, including logging, diagnosis, and resolution under the project team's direction.
  • Utilize structured analysis and a creative approach to complex problem-solving in projects to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and apply relevant documentation, ensuring high standards of documentation and implementation understanding.
  • Support logistics and cargo preparation within the technical environment.
  • Assist in Test and Train environments to facilitate deployments and system enhancements.
  • Implement new infrastructure, technology acquisitions, software solutions, and upgrades under project team supervision.
  • Maintain inventories including Documentation, Design Library, Software Assets, Hardware Assets, Communication Systems, Integration Interfaces, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with ICT security requirements at all times.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline Clearance.
