As the Athlete Sales Manager, you will bring your passion for sport and excellence in sales experience to drive commercial brand opportunities for our portfolio of star athletes.


You will work with some of the biggest names in NRL and sport, including Adam Reynolds, Greg Inglis, Kennedy Cherrington and more.

The business has two prominent streams - business consulting and athlete management.

This role will focus on building brand and ambassador opportunities for our athlete portfolio and report into the Commercial Director.

The role will be focused on lead generation and deal negotiation, and will suit a self-starter with strong sales discipline to manage and forecast a pipeline.


Our client has an extensive sphere of influence in Australian sport, and while we don't expect everyone here to be mad NRL fans, we do highly regard team players who bring passion, performance and positivity to the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for and identify leads to commercialise our athletes' personal brands.
  • Take charge of the entire sales process, from inception to completion, covering lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting, briefings, strategy development, proposal creation, compelling presentations, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Effectively manage both existing sales pipeline and the cultivation of new business opportunities.
  • Actively prospect new clients to establish collaborative relationships, aiming for maximise opportunities for both athletes and brands.
  • Recognise trends and customer needs, constructing a sales pipeline aligned with short, medium, and longterm targets.
  • Maximise Enrichd Group athlete product exposure by participating in relevant events.
  • Overcome objections using negotiation skills to secure sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders, nurturing partnerships that drive growth.
  • Demonstrate a track record of success in building businesstobusiness relationships and delivering tangible commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellence in sales discipline skills such as forecasting, customer relationship list management.
About You


First and foremost, what we care about is your attitude: for learning, teamwork and enhancing your skills as you progress in your career in sports marketing.

You will also be able to demonstrate strategic thinking, be analytical and have exceptional attention to detail.

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with track record of closing profitable business
  • Exceptional communication skills in client management and ability to represent the business in a professional manner
  • Understanding of CRM tools
  • Hubspot
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong sales discipline skills
  • Always on pulse on sports marketing best practices and trends
  • Can do attitude Working within the team or autonomously.
