A career at Nike Retail demands creativity and ambition, offering you the chance to grow alongside the industry's best athletes, teammates, and retail partners.We are currently seeking an Operations Specialist (3IC) to join our team at the Nike Homebush DFO store.This position is an excellent starting point for those aiming for a retail leadership career. Reporting to the Assistant Head Coach, you will handle non-selling tasks supporting store administration and accounting functions.As an Athlete (Retail Assistant) primarily focusing on delivering top-notch customer service in-store, you will also assist the leadership team with various operational support duties, including rostering, in-store functions, and aiding in performance management.In this dynamic role, you will be involved in:
  • Performing cashiering tasks, including all cash-related opening and closing duties
  • Acting as 2IC for the stores Operations department
  • Assisting in cashier training for Sales Associates and maintaining training materials
  • Ensuring excellent consumer service at all times
  • Ensuring accuracy of Payroll information and managing wage spend
  • Supporting the Store Manager by reviewing P & L monthly
The essentials for this role include:
  • A strong passion for the Brand/Sports
  • Basic Maths skills, financial acumen, and previous relevant Retail or hospitality experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong strategic, problem-solving, and influencing abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
