About the role:


This is a great opportunity for an inspiring people leader to join the Powerlink team As our Work Site Supervisor - Substations, you will be responsible for the successful supervision and coordination of assigned work on Powerlink Queensland sites.


You will play a highly collaborative, hands-on role in delivering the safe and efficient execution of work on our HV Transmission network, either maintaining existing substation equipment or assisting with the construction, installation and building of new primary plant.


Performing the role of Principal Contractors Representative, you will ensure adherence to WH&S policies and procedures, escalate non-conformance issues to the Section Leader and Works Control Managers, and assist in the resolution delivery where required.


About you:

Are you a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic team leader with a background in safely maintaining, constructing and operating High Voltage electrical substation equipment and supervision of third parties on Construction Sites?


You have a Queensland Electrical Fitter / Mechanic licence, a current resuscitation and switchboard rescue certification, a construction White Card, relevant mobile plant and equipment authorisations and a "C" Class driver's licence.
