Based in Brisbane, as a Work Site Supervisor - Lines, you will deliver safe efficient execution of work packages and ensure the effective development of capability and performance across their team members.


The Works Site Supervisor - Lines delivers safe and efficient execution of maintenance, repair, operation and construction of high voltage Lines assets and associated equipment up to 330 kV using both live and de-energised techniques.

Being one of our
Work Site Supervisor - Lines, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day.

And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know.

What you'll bring:

  • Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence as an Electrical Linesperson (Transmission) coupled with significant experience in live line work using hotstick and barehand techniques, lines maintenance works, project construction works and supervision of third parties on Construction Sites
  • Construction white card
  • Relevant mobile plant & equipment authorisations
  • HR class Drivers License
  • Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety.

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Leadership and Management would be an advantage.
Noting that Powerlink will support you in acquiring some of these on the job.

We'd also love you to have:

  • Manage and coordinate all day to day activities onsite. This involves the supervision of assigned staff, contractors, material and other stakeholders to ensure project works are completed on time and according to the project specifications.
  • Provide feedback to the Work Control Managers on work performance, technical capability and quality deliverables of assigned staff performing the works
