We specialise in the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of high voltage infrastructure such as transmission substations, wind farms and battery storage systems.

The pipeline of work is secured and will be there for decades to come.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Townsville based Leading Hand to join our construction team on the Ross Substation Upgrade. This project is located south west of Townsville and is part of the Ross transmission zone.

This substation is an essential switching station for 275kV power transfer from central to north and far north Queensland, as well as the major injection point for the Townsville distribution network.


Leading Hands will join a great team culture as part of our onsite construction teams and work collaboratively to deliver these major projects safely, on time and within budget.


You will be rewarded with excellent working conditions under our enterprise agreement and have the opportunity to work on high-voltage substation projects that are contributing to Australia's renewable energy future.


Skills and Experiences:

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • QLD Electrical License
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in electrical construction on HV substations
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Experience in high voltage construction and testing
  • White Card, LV Rescue and CPR Certificate
  • Relevant industry experience in the installation, repair, commissioning, and maintenance of HV and substation equipment
