Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist (IS) will deliver a range of technical services and expertise to Intelerad's new and existing clients.

They will travel to our clients' radiology practices as a visible representative of Intelerad, meeting with key personnel to implement our Enterprise Imaging Solutions.

This includes evaluating client needs and developing configurations that support business processes, testing and troubleshooting system setups and facilitation and support of system go-lives.

Ultimately, the Implementation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the purchased solution is operational and satisfies both client needs and the requirements of the sale.

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to determine system configuration needs
  • Oversee project results onsite, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes
  • Identify and execute opportunities to optimise the client's overall imaging workflow
  • Configure and test Intelerad software to ensure it meets client workflow requirements
  • Setup and test communications between Intelerad servers and DICOM devices such as modalities, workstations, printers, etc.
  • Configure, test and maintain Clario HL7 integrations
  • Verify and support configurations implemented by other Intelerad teams such as PACS HL7 integrations and DICOM image flow
  • Verify physical hardware setup and network connectivity
  • Assist in the identification, documentation and resolution of software and workflow issues both onsite and remotely
  • Support the customer as they begin using their new workflow including some enduser training when necessary
  • Work with the Project Manager to document new installations and any changes to workflows (diagrams, records etc)
  • Contribute to postinstallation/postupgrade debriefing meetings to share relevant information about architecture and any configuration changes
  • Occasional travel within Australia and New Zealand to client locations

Qualifications:

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Understanding of HL7 and integration capabilities
  • Experience with Linux commandline interface (navigation, viewing/editing files, troubleshooting network issues etc.)
  • Experience with Windows Server/IIS administration
  • Basic knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, postgresql, MS SQL)
  • Previous experience with RIS and PACS
  • Ability to travel regularly within Australia and New Zealand
  • Valid passport (or the ability to obtain one)

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Understanding of DICOM and other imaging information technologies
  • Experience with medical imaging equipment (e.g. modalities, film printers, digitisers, highresolution medical monitors, etc.)
  • Experience working in projects and liaising with radiologists and senior managers
