Senior Contracts Advisor

This role involves negotiating and managing various foundation contracts in Horizon Power's supply chain, such as electricity, fuels, and water contracts.

This is a permanent position.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking and assisting with foundation system contract negotiations for long-term energy contracts, including electricity purchase, gas/diesel, gas transportation, and water supply agreements.
  • Developing plans to reduce supply chain costs while fulfilling Horizon Power's electricity supply obligations.
  • Assisting in Horizon Power's regulatory compliance under the Renewable Energy Act, by managing Small-scale and Large-scale Technology Certificates.
  • Addressing ongoing contract management issues related to foundation system contracts in line with procurement and contract management protocols.

You should have:

  • Extensive experience in a commercial environment, preferably involving contract management.
  • Knowledge of the Western Australian energy industry and electricity markets.
  • Experience in commercial options analysis to support decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Plexos optimization software (Desirable).
