The Accommodation and Community Services team supports people living with disability through accommodation and community engagement.
We offer individualised and person-centred supports by working alongside our customers to support them to reach their full potential and make a difference to the lives of people living with disabilities.
We are seeking a full time overnight Support Worker working a 7 shift per fortnight roster pattern.Please review the roster before applying:
Proposed Roster - Overnight Support - 68 hrs per
Key duties include:
- Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within a customer's residence;
- Supporting personcentred plans that identify a customer's life goals;
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
- Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.
What you need?
- Welldeveloped interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
- Previous experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans;
- Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration is desirable;
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19 as per the Government mandate for Support Workers;
- Significant personal care and domestic duties experience desirable;
- Proven administration and computer literacy skills;
- A Valid WA drivers licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with Activ's motor vehicle allowance rebate)
